favourite day of week

TGIF is all I can say!  Actually everyday is a good day - even battling windy Wellington weather, we are still way better off than most, (thinking of everyone in Chch) so I musn't complain.

Looking forward to dinner, diving into my favourite chair by the fire (yes, even though its spring) and watching my favourite friday nite telly.

favourite chocolate cake

Everybody who celebrates a birthday in my family/friend circle gets 'the cake'
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup oil
1 cup boiling water

Place sugar in bowl, add sifted dry ingredients, combine
Add wet ingredients,  mix
Add boiling water and mix well again
Pour in greased baking dish, bake at 180 30-40 mins till cooked.
Serve with most favourite icing and don't forget the ice cream - yummy

Finally.... I started a blogg!  I can't tell you how many journals I have commenced over the years, this looks like fun!

I'm nanny shaz, a nick-name given by work colleagues  who were all younger than me.  All is good, I love being nanny shaz.

Actually, I love lots of things, my family, my friends, my neighbours, my work, my church, my electric blankie,  the list goes on.  Favourite colour: black, how did you know? Favourite movie: Twilight saga's -  go team Bella! Favourite food: anything that starts with chocolate and ends with 'ice cream'....hence my favourite saying....
